Debbie and Wayne now own BayWood Equestrian Center, as a joint venture with Sandy & Jim Bentley. This team has a good understanding of both the business of Arabians and the views of amateur owner / exhibitors. Baywood's owners, Debbie and Wayne Higgins, have been involved with Arabian horses for over 15 years, starting with when their daughter began taking riding lessons. During this period they have shown at all levels, starting at "fun shows" with one horse and a saddle and working up to the U.S. Nationals. They have bred their own mares, operated a boarding facility, shown on their own, and with professional trainers. Jim Bentley manages the day to day farm operations, supervises all horse care related activities. Jim has 30 years experience working with various breeds. His experience and knowledge ensure that client horses receive the best possible care.
